Welcome.
Cycling on the Slow Art Trail
Slow Art is a creative development by Chrysalis
Arts inspired by the Slow Food movement, it highlights current changes affecting
rural living and working, landscape, agriculture, and the impact of climate change
on the environment.
Slow Art works are of high quality and are created from low environmental impact
materials, sustainable processes and will simultaneously express and challenge perceptions
about contemporary art making.
They follow the PASA Guidelines of
sustainability in public art: artistic practice highlighting the green themes that
encourage community involvement, are appropriate to the context in which they are
created, are responsibly managed, using materials and techniques with low embodied
energy.
